Draft Tracker — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 August 2026
Draft Tracker has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information. Everything it stores stays in your own browser.
What the extension stores
Draft Tracker saves the following using Chrome's extension storage, on your device only:
- Your player lists — the player names, teams, positions, ranks and average draft position you imported from FantasyPros, or from a CSV file you chose.
- Your edits to those lists — which players you starred, the order you put them in, and any short notes you wrote.
- Which list is currently selected, and a storage schema version used to upgrade older saved data.
- Your theme preference (light, dark, or follow the system setting).
While a draft is in progress, the extension also keeps that draft's state — which players have come off the board — in Chrome's temporary session storage. That is cleared when your browser closes.
None of this leaves your browser. There is no account to create, no server to sync with, and no backup held by anyone else. Uninstalling the extension removes it.
What the extension can read
Draft Tracker can read pages on exactly two websites, and nothing else:
| Site | What it reads, and why |
|---|---|
www.fantasypros.com |
When you press Import, it reads the average-draft-position table on the FantasyPros page you already have open, so your list can be built without retyping it. It reads only when you ask it to. |
football.fantasysports.yahoo.com |
During a draft, it watches the draft room page for picks as they happen, so players can be crossed off your list. It only observes the page you are already looking at. |
The extension never signs in on your behalf, never makes picks, never submits anything to Yahoo or FantasyPros, and never takes any action on your account. It only ever reads — both the content of the pages you have open, and the live updates those pages already receive while a draft is running. It never sends anything of its own, and it does not request permission to read your browsing history, your tabs, or your cookies.
Sharing a list with someone
If you use the share feature, the extension produces a share code containing the player identifiers, ordering, starred players and notes for that one list. That code is placed on your clipboard for you to send however you choose.
The share code is not uploaded anywhere. It is carried entirely inside the code itself, in the part of a web address that browsers never send to a server. Draft Tracker cannot see who you send it to, and no copy is kept by us. Anyone you give the code to can read that list, so treat it the way you would treat any message you send.
What is not collected
- No personally identifiable information — no name, address, email address, or age.
- No health, financial, or location information.
- No authentication information, passwords, or credentials.
- No personal communications.
- No browsing history, and no activity on any site other than the two named above.
- No usage analytics, crash reporting, telemetry, advertising identifiers, or tracking of any kind.
Data sharing and sale
No data is transferred to us or to any third party, because no data is collected in the first place. Nothing is sold. Nothing is used for advertising, credit assessment, or lending. Nothing is used for any purpose unrelated to the extension's single function.
Remote code
The extension runs only the code included in its published package. It does not download or execute code from anywhere else at runtime. The fonts it uses are bundled inside the extension rather than fetched from the internet.
Children
Draft Tracker is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children.
